Terms of Use

Welcome to Enodo (the "App"). Enodo is a personal AI companion for self-reflection. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who we are

Enodo is operated by Ilia Elistratov, an individual developer based in Türkiye ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at il.elistratov@gmail.com.

2. Who can use Enodo

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms to use the App. Enodo is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

3. Your license to use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal reflection. You agree not to:

• copy, resell, or commercially exploit any part of the App;
• modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to access the App's source code or systems in an unauthorized way;
• use the App in any unlawful manner or to disrupt its operation.

4. Your content stays yours

Everything you write, record, or add to Enodo ("Your Content") belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of it.

To operate the App, you grant us a limited license to store Your Content and process it — including sending it to our AI provider — solely to deliver the features you use (such as reflections, insights, and summaries). We do not use Your Content for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Your Content is stored encrypted (AES-256), and we do not read it; it is decrypted only automatically to run the features you use. See our Privacy Policy for how encryption works.

5. AI features

Enodo uses artificial intelligence to generate reflections, questions, insights, and summaries. AI is probabilistic: its output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not reflect real facts. You should not rely on it as factual, professional, legal, financial, or medical advice.

6. Not a medical service

Enodo is not a healthcare provider and does not offer therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or treatment. It is a self-reflection tool for personal growth and emotional awareness, not a substitute for professional mental health care.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm or suicide, or a medical emergency, stop using the App and contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services immediately. Enodo cannot help in crisis situations.

7. Subscriptions and payment

Enodo may offer a free trial and paid subscriptions that unlock premium features.

• Apple App Store (in-app purchase): payment, renewal, and cancellation are handled through your Apple ID. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
• Web (Paddle): where offered, subscriptions purchased on the web are billed and managed through our payment provider Paddle.
• Free trials automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless canceled beforehand.
• Refunds are handled according to the rules of the platform you purchased through (Apple or Paddle). Deleting the App does not automatically cancel a subscription.

8. Acceptable use

You agree to use Enodo responsibly and lawfully. You will not upload content that is illegal, or that infringes the rights of others, and you will not misuse or attempt to overload the App.

9. Changes, suspension, and termination

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using Enodo and delete your account at any time from within the App.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the App.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer protections you may have under the laws of your own country of residence.
