Terms of Use

Welcome to Enodo (the "App"). Enodo is a personal journaling app for self-reflection. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who we are

Enodo is operated by Ilia Elistratov, an individual developer based in Türkiye ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at hello@getenodo.com.

2. Who can use Enodo

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms to use the App. Enodo is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. Enodo is not directed at users in the Russian Federation, and we do not market it there.

3. Your license to use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal reflection. You agree not to:

• copy, resell, or commercially exploit any part of the App;
• modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to access the App's source code or systems in an unauthorized way;
• use the App in any unlawful manner or to disrupt its operation.

4. Your content stays yours

Everything you write, record, or add to Enodo ("Your Content") belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of it.

Responses the AI generates for you ("AI Output") are also yours to use as you wish; we claim no rights in them. AI may produce similar output for other people.

To operate the App, you grant us a limited license to store Your Content and process it — including sending it to our AI provider — solely to deliver the features you use (such as reflections, insights, and summaries). We do not use Your Content for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Your Content is stored encrypted (AES-256), and we do not read it; it is decrypted only automatically to run the features you use. See our Privacy Policy for how encryption works.

5. AI features

Enodo uses artificial intelligence to generate reflections, questions, insights, and summaries. When you talk to Enodo, you are talking to an AI, not a person. We send your content to AI only with your explicit consent, which we ask for before you create an account (see our Privacy Policy).

• AI is probabilistic: its output may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of context, or not reflect real facts, and at times it may feel unhelpful or inappropriate.
• AI Output is not professional, medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and it does not represent our views.
• You decide what to do with AI Output. You are solely responsible for the decisions and actions you take based on it. Use your own judgment and, where it matters, consult a qualified professional.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for AI Output or for any consequences of relying on it.

6. Not a medical service

Enodo is not a healthcare provider and does not offer therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or treatment. It is a self-reflection tool for personal growth and emotional awareness, not a substitute for professional mental health care.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm or suicide, or a medical emergency, stop using the App and contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services immediately. Enodo cannot help in crisis situations.

7. Subscriptions and payment

Enodo may offer a free trial and paid subscriptions that unlock premium features.

• Apple App Store (in-app purchase): payment, renewal, and cancellation are handled through your Apple ID. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
• Web: subscriptions purchased on the web are sold by us. Payments are processed by Whop, which appears as the payment processor on your card statement. You can cancel anytime in the App (Settings → Manage subscription opens your Whop billing page) or by writing to us at hello@getenodo.com.
• Free trials automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless canceled beforehand.
• Refunds for in-app purchases follow Apple's rules and are requested from Apple. For web purchases, write to us at hello@getenodo.com — we handle refund requests and issue refunds through Whop. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel a subscription.

EU/EEA consumers — 14-day right of withdrawal. If you live in the EU or EEA, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days, without giving a reason. Web purchases are sold by us, so write to us at hello@getenodo.com and we will process your withdrawal and refund through Whop; for in-app purchases, withdrawal is handled by Apple. By starting a paid subscription you ask us to give you access to the paid features right away; where you have already used them, we may keep a proportionate amount for what you received, as EU law allows.

8. Acceptable use

You agree to use Enodo responsibly and lawfully. You will not upload content that is illegal, or that infringes the rights of others, and you will not misuse or attempt to overload the App.

9. Changes, suspension, and termination

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using Enodo and delete your account at any time from within the App.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the App.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer protections you may have under the laws of your own country of residence.
